Children have been having a brick-load of fun bringing their own Lego creations to life at a series of educational workshops.

Last month, Wealdstone Library invited 10 lucky children along to the trial launch of LEGO Education which is to be introduced to libraries across the borough in September.

Since then, libraries across the borough have been hosting fun-filled and interactive workshops for children enjoying their summer holidays where they have learnt about design and technology using resources familiar to them.

Portfolio holder for Community and Culture, Cllr Sue Anderson said: “Our libraries are about more than just borrowing books.

“We want children learning in an engaging and creative way so we are absolutely delighted this programme is being launched in Harrow.”
