A new creative education programme is being launched across libraries this summer to help support children’s learning development.
As schools across Harrow break up for the summer holidays this week, schoolchildren can continue their education while having fun at the launch of a new LEGO learning scheme.
The LEGO Education programme aims to offer support to children in a creative environment, allowing them to develop their understanding of computing, design and technology, science, maths and languages.
The launch, which is being held on July 23 from 2pm at Wealdstone Library, is the first step of LEGO in libraries, which will see weekly courses for children aged eight and over being rolled out across the borough in September.
A number of taster sessions will also be held throughout the summer holidays.
During the LEGO Clubs children will interact with specially designed LEGO Education activity packages such as StoryStarter, MoreToMaths, WeDo, and Machines and Mechanisms under the guidance of LEGO trained staff.
