Nursery students got to grips with nature as they explored a woodland trail.
Pinner Jewish Kindergarten pupils have visited the Forest School, set in woodland to the side of All Saints’ Church in Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald, where they took part in a range of activities aimed at exploring and understanding their environment.
The back to nature experience included a puppet trail, leaf painting, blowing bubbles with wands made out of natural materials and seeing how a special kettle works on an open fire.
Joint headteacher Louisa Brickman said: “This was a magical experience for our children.
“It was a pleasure to see their happy faces and to watch their confidence and affinity with their environment blossom as the day progressed.”
The children also read the famous Stick Man story by Julia Donaldson, before making their own stick men from the natural materials found in their surroundings.
