Workers harness themselves to roof to fly Armed Forces flag
Tributes have been paid to Britain’s Armed Forces as a flag flew high above council offices.
A flag was hoisted above Brent council’s offices on Friday, June 26 as part of a nationwide tribute to Britain’s Armed Forces ahead of the weekend’s celebrations for Armed Forces Day.
The flag raising was carried out by Brent council’s contractors, who had to harness themselves onto the roof of the civic centre to get near to the flagpole.
