Armed robbers stormed into a man’s home, threatened him with a knife and broke his nose.

Two men broke through the front door of the property in Woodgrange Close, Kenton, at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 17, demanding to know where cash and gold were kept.

A 23-year-old man was home alone at the time of the robbery and was confronted by the men, who punched him several times in the face and brandished a knife.

The men then took the victim from room to room where the suspects searched the property and took various items, including computers, phones and watches.

Before leaving, the men led the victim to the living room where he was told to get on the floor and not to call police or go to the door as they had people watching the house.

Trainee Detective Constable Sarah Mendel-Lion, of Harrow police, said: "This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim, so I am appealing for help to catch these two men before they strike again.”

The first suspect is described as a white man with a beard, approximately 25-years-old, and around 6ft tall of slim build. He was wearing a blue jacket, a royal blue hoodie with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and sunglasses.

The second suspect is described as a black man, approximately 25-years-old, 6ft tall, slim and wearing a black tracksuit.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101.
