People can learn more about making a will and find information about alternative funerals at a ‘YODO cafe’.
St Luke’s Hospice, based in Kenton, will be hosting the free ‘YODO' cafe this month - YODO stands for You Only Die Once - at which people will have the chance to have an open discussion about issues around death and dying over tea and cake.
There will also be the opportunity to speak to a member of the Funeral Directors Association about funeral plans, alternative funerals, making a will and organ donation.
There will be a stand at Harrow Civic Centre on Monday, May 18 and stands at St Ann Shopping Centre and Brent Civic Centre on Wednesday, May 20.
The hospice’s own cafe will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 10am to 3pm.
Anyone interested in a seminar from Nigel Kelly of Lynch Hall & Hornby about making a will must book a place by contacting Fozia Aden on 020 8382 8143 or email faden@stlukes-hospice.org
