Members of the public are invited to join the Hindu community in celebrating the Rama Navami festival today.
The Rama Navami festival is held to mark the appearance of Lord Shree Rama, and evening celebrations will be held to honour Lord Shree Swaminarayan, who is known as Shree Swaminarayan Jayanti.
Children’s activities, including arts and crafts and a bouncy castle, will be held from midday until 5pm, and celebrations at Shree Swaminarayan Temple, in Wood Lane, Stanmore, will begin from 5.30pm.
