People can try their hand at badminton in coaching sessions at a leisure centre.
Starting this month, Harrow Leisure Centre will introduce Badminton England classes to encourage more people in Harrow to try their hand at the sport.
Programmes including no strings, battle badminton, smash up badminton and essentials badminton, are designed to be fun and social along with helping to improve players’ fitness and their technique.
Staff at the facility will also receive regular training from Badminton England.
John Sewell, Everyone Active general manager, said: “We’re so pleased to be working with Badminton England and to be leading the way on a national partnership that offers so many quality ways to play badminton.
“We’re looking forward to a very successful partnership in the years ahead and to driving participation levels in Harrow.”
