Opticians launches charity appeal for African children
An opticians has launched a charity appeal for children in Africa.
Specsavers Edgware, in the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Station Road, Edgware, is urging people to donate clothes for children in Nakuru, Kenya.
Sasha Cutten, who works at the branch, will take the donations with her when she fles out to Nakuru on March 21 to work with the children.
She said: “We really want to go to Nakuru with as many presents as possible for all the children to help make their lives a little easier.”
People can drop donations off in the shop until March 15.
