Designs for a new performance space, café and park at a college have been released.
Harrow College has released images of Arc House – a new community space due to open in Harrow town centre at the end of February.
The Arc House will host events including theatre performances, birthday parties, mothers and children's coffee mornings, exercise classes and other community events and aims to offer volunteer and apprenticeship opportunities.
The building, designed by architect Adams & Sutherland, is currently being erected on the former Lowlands recreational ground, next door to Harrow College’s Harrow on the Hill campus.
Helen Galliford, events manager for the Arc House, said: “The Arc House is an exciting new performance space in the heart of Harrow. The Arc House project embodies the spirit of community and prosperity.
“Not only will it provide a platform for local groups and corporate entities to host events for locals, it will also bring some much needed regeneration to Harrow town centre and offer employment and volunteer opportunities, as well.”
