A mosque will take part in a national open day today.
The Shia Ithna'ashari Community of Middlesex in North Harrow has organised an open day today as part of the Muslim Council of Britain's national 'visit my mosque' day.
The event is being held to reach out and promote community cohesion, encourage deeper cultural and religious understanding and to provide the opportunity to for more people to get to know one another.
Executive committee member Miqdaad Versi said: "This open day is part of a series of outreach work done by our organisation in the past few months. This has included a range of interfaith and social action programmes with the local community.”
The open day will take place from 1pm at Mahfil Ali, in Gloucester Road, North Harrow.
