Fewer pensioners in Harrow injured themselves in falls than those in neighbouring boroughs.

Figures from NHS Choices have revealed that pensioners in Harrow aged 65 and over were the 68th most likely to suffer injuries from a fall in a survey including councils across the country.

In Harrow, 2,104 pensioners from every 100,000 were admitted to hospital after falls in the 2012 to 2013 financial year. In the same period, neighbouring Brent's figures were 2,286 per 100,000 and Ealing's were 2,923 per 100,000.

The data, published by NHS Choices, assesses how the NHS works with local authorities to protect and improve public health.
