Households will benefit from warmer homes and reduced energy bills thanks to new funding.
Harrow Council has been awarded £1.3 million by Department of Energy and Climate Change to deliver the Green Deal communities programme for homes in Pinner and Queensbury.
The scheme reduces the cost of installing energy measures, such as solid wall insulation, loft and cavity wall insulation and boilers for private homeowners.
Harrow Council and Keepmoat will hold a drop in session at Pinner Hill Community Centre on Saturday, January 17 from 10am to 2.30pm for householders to find out about energy efficiency grants available to them.
