A new volunteering project has launched giving those with hectic schedules the chance to donate a bit of free time to a good cause.
Voluntary Action Harrow (VAH) have announced the new micro-volunteering project, called Pop-Up Harrow, which gives people with busy lives the chance to donate time to a good cause.
VAH will match people to different charities and other organisations who need help.
Alex Buckmire, from VAH said: “We're absolutely delighted to be announcing this project. This gives residents a chance to try out a variety of different volunteering roles and the opportunity build a variety of skills.
“We'll be promoting local community groups volunteering opportunities and aiming to work with Harrow's educational institutions to give students a chance to work with local charities.”
