People are being invited to a church which has been transformed into a Christmas tree winter wonderland.

All Saints Church, in Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald, has had more than 40 Christmas trees installed during the past month, each one designed and decorated by schools, community groups and businesses from the area.

On Saturday December 13, from 11.00am and 4.00pm the church will be holding its annual Christmas Tree festival, and is inviting the public to admire the display.

There will be mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshments available with music and a visit from Father Christmas.

Vicar James Mercer said: “We continue to look for creative ways to put Harrow Weald and its community on the map.

“We look forward to welcoming people to enjoy this magical spectacle of a church full of individually decorated trees, celebrating the contribution all sorts of groups and business contribute to the community.”
