Pupils have been recognised for their hard work promoting road safety for travelling to school.
Children from Belmont Primary School, were given an award as part of Transport for London’s STARS (Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe) programme.
Last week pupils from the school in Hibbert Road visited City Hall in central London to receive the prize for their project.
Over the past few months the children have been promoting active and safer travel around their school and helped get signatures for a new pedestrian crossing in Locket Road.
