Ambulance response times for Harrow are just above London’s average, but well short of the service's target.
Figures released by the London Ambulance Service show 63 per cent of ambulances sent in August to calls involving immediately life-threatening conditions arrived within eight minutes, falling short of the service’s target of 75 per cent.
The numbers were a slight improvement on July’s figures of 61 per cent, and just above the London-wide average of 62 per cent for August.
Neighbouring boroughs of Barnet recorded 56 per cent for August, and Hillingdon recorded 65 per cent.
