School choirs from Potters Bar could win the chance to perform at Elstree Studios if they win a choral competition.

Mayor of Hertsmere Councillor Carey Keates is on the lookout for school choirs in the borough to take part in his competition to raise money for his two chosen charities, Kidney Research UK and Mencap.

Winners will receive £250 for their school and will be invited to perform at the Hertsmere Civic Dinner at Elstree Studios in March next year.

The competition will take place at The Ark Theatre in Borehamwood on Sunday, November 16 at 3pm and proceeds will go to Kidney Research UK and Hertsmere Mencap. Winners will have the chance to perform at Elstree Studios, in Borehamwood.
