Burst water main leaves families without water
Hundreds of families have been left without a supply of running water after a water main burst last night.
The 21-inch pipe broke on the A41 in Edgware at 10.40pm but Affinity Water contractors have so far been unable to fix it.
Contractors worked through the night in an attempt to repair the main and are still at the scene.
Modi Jayshree, who lives in Edgware, said: “I’m stuck – today is my day off and I can’t do anything. I can’t take a shower or have a drink.
“It’s very annoying as we’ve not been given any information. I hope they fix it by the end of the day.”
