A 68-year-old man has gone missing from his home in Pinner.
John Murphy was last seen at 3pm yesterday afternoon in the Pinner area of Harrow, wearing a red T-shirt, a grey body warmer, black boots and a blue Chelsea football baseball cap.
He is described as a white man, 5ft 5ins tall, slim build with short dark hair.
John is known to suffering from advanced Alzheimer's and does not usually leave his home in Harrow, where he has been living for three months, unaccompanied.
He does not know the area and does not have ready access to money or means of travel.
Police are particularly concerned for his well-being due to the cold weather overnight and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101.
