A women’s charity hosted a coffee morning to help raise money for a cancer charity.
The Harrow Women’s Network were joined by members of the public and councillors for the coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday.
All those taking part enjoyed tea, coffee and cake at the event at the charity’s base in West Harrow.
Member of the group Harrow Councillor Sue Anderson said: “We are really grateful to the people who gave their time and energy to make this an enjoyable and informal occasion and to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
“This charity provides so many services not just for the benefit of people with cancer but also for their friends and family who care for them and whose own needs are sometimes overlooked.”
The coffee morning was part of a national campaign with events taking place across the country to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
