Free books for children
A library is backing a campaign to get children reading by giving away free books.
Grahame Park Library, in The Concourse, Colindale, is offering Diary of a Wimpy Kid to 50 children.
People can visit the library on Saturday, September 13, to claim their free copy as part of the ‘Just Read’ giveaway.
Those who visit the library on Saturday can also enjoy games, quizzes and crafts to highlight how valuable reading is.
