People backing plans to open a new church-run free school will hold a meeting to discuss their campaign.
More than 100 parents have signed a petition to support St John the Baptist in Chipping Barnet’s campaign to build the new Church of England primary school.
Father Tristan Chapman and volunteers from the Wood Street church's congregation hope the new school will be open by September 2016.
This year, 92 per cent of pupils received their first choice of school for September 2014 but there are concerns more than 200 children will be without a place in the next few years.
The meeting will discuss the school’s curriculum, admissions policy and ethos and will be held on Thursday, October 2, at 8pm at St John the Baptist.
