People in Harrow could be getting some of their post delivered on Sunday’s from this weekend.
The extension of services has been announced by Royal Mail as it aims to improve customer services in the face of increased pressure from competitors such as TNT.
The company will be trialling deliveries on Sundays to addresses within the M25.
Also Royal Mail’s Harrow delivery office, in Elmgrove Road, is one of 11 across London which will be open for four hours on Sundays for people to collect their parcels.
Nick Landon, of Royal Mail Parcels, said: “We are continuing to be more customer responsive and provide more options for people to receive items they have ordered online.”
