Something fishy is going on at a university as artistic students create an exhibition about the mysteries of the sea.
Drawn Chorus, a group of illustration graduates at Middlesex University, in The Burroughs, Hendon, will put on a nautically-themed display named AHOY!
The show will mark the 200th anniversary of the disappearance of the ship the USS Wasp in the Bermuda Triangle.
It will include lino-cuts, pencil drawings, collage, digital works and sculptures and visitors will also be able to have a sneak peek at a unique anthology book about the sea.
Drawn Chorus member and Middlesex graduate Alex Moore, of Highgate, said: “AHOY! will be much more than just pictures on a wall.
“For the opening we’ll be creating an experience tailored to the theme with space dressing, interactive elements, music and themed food.
“One of the reasons we started the Drawn Chorus was to keep the spirit of the university studio going.
“Everyone also has a very distinct style, and there’s a fantastic diversity of approaches within the group.”
The show launches on Thursday, August 28 and ends on September 2.
