A headtecher has wished his pupils all the best in their future studies after a bumper year of A-Level results.
Pupils and teachers from Nower Hill High School have been celebrating A-Level results which will see many off to university.
Headteacher of Nower Hill Chris Livesey said: “We are delighted to report Nower Hill High School’s highest ever A level results.
“This is an excellent achievement by the students and no doubt they would want to join me in thanking their teachers and other members of staff for all the hard work that has gone in to teaching them and preparing them for their examinations.
“We’re very proud of our students and we wish them all the best in their future studies and careers.”
One star pupils was Kunal Bhatia who got three A*s and an A and will be off to Imperial College London study Physics which hopes of completing a PHD in theoretical physics.
Taine Ranaghan also got three A*s and an A and will be off to Cambridge to study engineering.
Fellow pupil Gabriella Mitchell who got an A* and two As will be going to study Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Oxford.
