Gusts of up to 50mph from the remnants of Hurricane Bertha brought down a branch.
The branch of the 30ft tree, at the entrance of Yeading Walk on the corner of Suffolk Road and the Ridgeway in North Harrow, snapped off on Sunday morning.
Parts of the UK were battered by the high winds and driving rains at the weekend as the storm that formed Hurricane Bertha swept through.
On Sunday, organisers of the RideLondon-Surrey 100 cycle race were forced to shorten the course to 86 miles to avoid exposed areas of the route.
