The outdoor gym at Childs Hill is one of seven across the borough
A community group that helped transform a park into a hive of activity is celebrating its first anniversary.
People are invited to an open day at Childs Hill Park, on Sunday, August 17, from 11am to 3pm.
The Friends of Childs Hill Park helped transform the green space after a number of grants totalling £57,000 and the support of Barnet Council’s green spaces team.
It now boasts a new play area, benches and flowers, as well as an outdoor gym.
