A police helicopter, dogs unit and a fire engine are just some of the attractions at an emergency services day.

Families have been invited to find out more about their emergency services on Friday August 29, in Whitchurch Playing Fields, in Stanmore.

From 11am to 4pm there will be teams from across the Metropolitan police including a dogs unit, a riot team, cycle team and historic Met vehicles.

There will also be members of the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service giving people the chance to find out more about the capital's emergency services.
