A spate of arrests have been made in the latest neighbourhood crime crackdown.

“We are here to serve the public, and today’s activity will act as a warning to those intent on breaking the law and engaging in criminal activity that we will do everything we can to stop them, and wherever possible put them before the courts to make London safer for our communities.”

Superintendent Robert Revill of Roads and Transport Policing Command said: “We work tirelessly everyday to keep the travelling public safe by targeting those who commit crime on the transport network.

“By carrying out joint operations such as Operation Big Wing, we send out a clear message that crime will not be tolerated anywhere in London."
