A musical murder mystery evening has been held to raise money for an orthopaedic hospital.
The Friends of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital held the Musical Murder Mystery Soiree at the Grim’s Dyke Hotel in Old Redding last week to raise money for the hospital.
Harrow East MP Bob Blackman attended as guest speaker due to his longstanding association with the hospital.
He said: "Raising funds to provide extra care for patients at RNOH is absolutely vital and I really must commend the Friends of the RNOH for all the sterling work they do for the cause.
“It is an honour to be able to support the Friends of the RNOH as they play their part."
Founded in 1963, the friends’ function is to provide extra care and comfort for the hospital’s patients, visitors and staff.
Company secretary Loelia Harris said: “During our 50 years’ association with the hospital, we have endeavoured to enhance the wellbeing of the patients, visitors and staff – and the projects we have completed in all areas of the hospital bear witness to this.”
