People are being invited to take part in a mass exercise class to help the fight against blood cancer.

More than 1,000 people from across Harrow, Brent, Ealing and Watford are expected to take part in the event at Harrow Leisure Centre in aid of blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan.

The class is being organised in support of staff member Chris Spencer, who underwent a bone marrow transplant through Anthony Nolan after being diagnosed with leukaemia last year.

Everyone is invited to the group exercise which will include aerobics, bollywood dancing, bodyattack, bodycombat and fitsteps exercise routines.

Antony Nolan finds and matches people willing to donate their bone marrow to patients in desperate need of a transplant.

It costs £7 per person to take part in the event at the leisure centre in Christchurch Avenue, with all money going to the charity.

Those interested in taking part in the class on Sunday July 27 from 10am to 12pm can sign up at the centre or call 020 8901 5980 or click here.
