Volunteers are being called to help maintain nearly 60-acres of old farming land opening to the public this summer.
Wood Farm, in Stanmore, will return to control of Harrow Borough Council next month.
The 59-acre site, next to Stanmore Country Park, used to be a pig farm and then a landfill site but has been transformed with new trees and paths to provide a new viewpoint from which to see the whole of London.
One or two new volunteer wardens are needed to help look after the site which has become a haven for wildlife over the last few years.
The role would include talking to visitors about the site, leading guided walks and maintaining the farm with the support of the Harrow Nature Conservation Forum.
Those interested in applying for the role can contact admin@harrowncf.org or by phone at 0779 483 7302.
