Safer Streets team visiting families
Families in Potters Bar were given free security checks by police officers.
People in The Drive, Potters Bar, received visits from PCSOs from Hertfordshire Constabulary's Safer Streets team.
Residents were given fire safety checks, crime prevention advice and tips on how to give up smoking.
Those who have been selected to receive a Safer Streets visit will get a hand-delivered postcard a few days beforehand.
