Plans to demolish a derelict pub to make way for nearly 30 flats are due to be discussed next week.
The proposals for the old Sam Maguire Public House, in High Street, Wealdstone, will be looked at by members of Harrow Borough Council’s planning committee on Wednesday next week.
The three-storey building, which has been vacant for some time, will be torn down to make way for a four and five-storey building with 27 flats and ground floor retail space.
According to council documents, the pub has been a target for anti-social behaviour in Wealdstone and six of the new flats will be designated for affordable.
The planning committee will meeting at 6.30pm on Wednesday, July 16.
