A temple will be holding a blood donation event as part of a charitable drive before its grand opening next month.
The Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury will hold its second blood donation session at its new site, in Kingsbury Road, on Sunday July 13.
Members of the temple held a similar session in April this year and collected a total of 75 units of blood.
The session is just one of many charity events organised by members of the temple in the run up its opening in August.
The new temple cost £20 million to build, all of the money being raised by the community and through the sale of its previous site in Golders Green.
There will be two blood donation sessions during the day with the first from 9.30am to 12.30pm and the second from 2pm to 4pm.
