A spiritual centre donated hundreds of pounds to the Mayor of Harrow’s chosen charity.
Members of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre, in Palmerston Road, Harrow, handed Coram a cheque for £501.
The centre raised the money during a fun day event in May, following the end of the local elections in India.
Children’s charity Coram helps support vulnerable children and also acts as an adoption agency.
Mayor of Harrow Cllr Ajay Maru said: “I am thankful for the generosity of everyone at the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre.
“Harrow Council has been in partnership with Coram since 2006 and the charity has been supporting children and young people for 275 years, giving them the best possible start in life through adoption.”
