A man is in hospital after being stabbed in a fight in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to reports of a person had been stabbed in Harrow Road, Sudbury, at 1.30am today.
Officers found a man in his 30s with stab wounds on the floor of a shop. Police gave first aid until the ambulance staff arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives from Brent police are investigating the incident and are looking to talk to anyone who may have seen a fight between two men.
Police would like to speak to a suspect described as black male between 25 and 30 years old, who was seen wearing a blue hooded top, black trousers and black shoes.
