A campaign has raised more than £5,000 to help a five-year-old boy receive possibly life saving treatment abroad.

Friends and neighbours of Rione Holder, of Harrow Weald, started the online campaign to raise money to secure treatment at a hospital in Frankfurt Germany, which could cost up to £10,000.

Rione has Wilm’s disease, a form of kidney cancer, which has progressed to the lungs.

He was treated at the Royal Marsden and Great Ormond Street Hospital, but his family were told by doctors nothing more could be done and he may only have weeks to live.

Since it was launched, the campaign more than £5,000 has been donated towards the treatment available in Germany, which the family have been told could be his last chance.
