Friends and neighbours of a five-year-old boy with a rare cancer have started a campaign to raise money for a procedure that could save his life.
Rione Holder, of Harrow Weald, was diagnosed with diagnosed with Wilm’s disease, a form of kidney cancer, which has progressed to his lungs.
He was treated at the Royal Marsden and Great Ormond Street hospitals but his family have been told there is nothing more which can be done and he may only have weeks to live.
Now they are hoping to secure treatment at a hospital in Frankfurt Germany which could cost up to £10,000.
Neighbour Darena Saoud Easton, who is helping raise money, said: “I really feel for him and his family because I have twins who are the same age.
“He is a lovely child and with everything he has been though he is really upbeat. He is an exceptional young boy.”
Friends have already donated more than £400 towards the procedure which his family say could be his last chance.
