Preparations for this year’s Roxeth Show are well underway, with organisers calling for the community to get involved.

The two-day event is now in its 37th year and will take place on Saturday July 12 and July 13 in Roxeth Recreation Ground, in South Harrow.

The free annual show, sponsored by the Harrow Times, is organised by the Harrow and Pinner Lions.

The weekend will feature funfair, the HA2CANDO Children's Carnival, dog show, games and stalls from community groups, charities and businesses.

Organiser Tony Hurley said: “We’re well underway getting things sorted now but we really want the community get involved.

“There’s loads of room for community groups or businesses to take a stall and showcase their work in Harrow.

“This year with World Cup final taking place on the weekend we hope people will come out, show their support and enjoy the show before the final in the evening.”
