Harrow Times: David Cameron and Boris Johnson were on their way to meet construction apprentices at Harrow College when they saw the woman collapse David Cameron and Boris Johnson were on their way to meet construction apprentices at Harrow College when they saw the woman collapse

David Cameron and Boris Johnson stopped to help a woman who had collapsed in the street during their visit to Harrow this morning.

The Prime Minister and Mayor of London stopped the car they were travelling in after seeing the woman fall to the ground in Sheepcote Road at 11.15am.

Paramedic Dominic Stark, who attended the scene, said: “The Prime Minister and Boris Johnson had pulled over when they noticed a woman collapsed on the street.

“When I arrived a few minutes later, I found the PM holding the woman’s hand. I took over caring for the patient and they left a few minutes later.”

The London Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to hospital.

Mr Cameron and Mayor Johnson were in the area on a planned visit to Harrow College to meet teenagers training for work in the construction industry.

Their response caused them to arrive late at the college.

The Conservative politicians later went on a walkabout through the town with Harrow Council leader Susan Hall.

Surfnutt and Dilgaf remember this woman is a human being and was in distress. Speculating on the reasons for her collapse is unnecessary. Think if it were one of your relatives or even you would you want these unkind remarks made on a public forum. It was a kind hearted gesture. What would you have them do ignore her!

In spite of your nasty comment, I would still telephone for an ambulance if I saw you had collapsed in the street. What would you have me do? Kick you into the kerb!

Beggars belief that a humane and spontaneous act on the part of David Cameron is being flagged up as a" publicity stunt by the blue brigade".Are you on drugs or hallucinating? How cynical and desperate these folk sound. As if the poor woman was "playing" for this special attention.

The vulgar remarks aimed at Jackdaw make us realise that, sadly, we have some sick folk in our society who have NO RESPECT for decent folk. They just cannot resist in indulging the use of base language and are the ones who themselves need to get a life!
