Film students will help a hospital record its charity walk for posterity.

Stanmore College will help film The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) Charity Redevelopment Appeal’s Buttercup Walk.

The walk will take place on Sunday 8 June to help raise £15 million for additional facilities and equipment for the Stanmore hospital.

College students will film the event as part of their BTEC Level 3 course in film and television production.

Shakeelah Archibald, one of the students filming the day, said: “I’m really excited to be part of this year’s Buttercup Walk.

“It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to gain such valuable experience and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity Redevelopment Appeal is a great cause to support.”

So far more than 250 people have signed up for the charity walk which will feature an appearance from Olympic bronze medal winning gymnast Max Whitlock as well as family activities and live music.
