Hundreds of people enjoyed a festival of events and activities to mark St George’s Day in Pinner.
Morris dancers led the celebrations in the high street, where a day of festivities centred around the traditional annual wheelbarrow race yesterday (Monday).
Occasional showers failed to deter visitors from enjoying a live singing performance from Gemma Turner, sampling the ales at a beer festival and taking part in the coconut shy.
Children enjoyed face painting and games, as well as a Punch and Judy show.
The annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Pinner and supported by Harrow Council.
