Two men were arrested after a car chase following a burglary ended when the suspects' car crashed.

Officers were called to Queens Court, Kenton Lane this afternoon at about 4.30pm to reports of a burglary taking place while the householder was at home.

Police pursued a black BMW which was driving away from the scene in Kenton Lane.

Two male suspects dumped the vehicle after the car crashed into a white Audi in Treve Avenue, at the junction with Whitmore Road.

The MPS helicopter was also called to support officers at the scene and two men were arrested in Drury Road and were taken to a police station.

Well done Harrow Police.Hope the criminals have learnt their lesson and that this will deter others who may be planning similar invasions into the homes of people in broad daylight,while the occupant is there.They had it coming!

Don't know why they bovered, we all know Burglars get off lightly - no point even arresting them!

The two posts above show the public naivety - these burglars won't give a stuff about being caught!

Very sorry to see this cynical comment from a member of our public, to protect whom our police officers put themselves in harm's way 24/7.Some folk cannot resist habitually criticising others and consider any good works performed as riddled with holes.Can't win them all!Still very pleased about the burglars caught and applaud the efforts of the officers in charge.
