A dispersal zone set up by police to tackle anti-social behaviour has been extended by six-months.
Harrow Police and Harrow Borough Council have agreed to keep the area around Wealdstone High Road in operation until October 6, 2014.
Police say there has been a fall in the number of crimes reported for the area during the six months the dispersal order has been in operation.
However they say the level of drug offences, theft and violent crime is still higher than other areas of the borough.
The order will cover Harrow and Wealdstone Station, Harrow Leisure Centre and Byron Recreational Ground, all the way up the High Street to Harrow Weald Bus Garage.
