Libraries across the borough will be taking part in a scheme to help children fall in love with the written word.
Harrow libraries will be part of a London wide project called Cityread focusing on work to mark the centenary of World War I.
The project aims to get children to engage with their local library and celebrate London’s history.
As part of the event throughout the month libraries will be holding free events and giving some lucky book lovers copies of Michael Morpurgo’s bestseller Private Peaceful.
