A Muslim primary school raised more than £1,000 with a sport fitness event organised by pupils.
All pupils at Harrow Primary School in Gayton took part in the challenge at Harrow Leisure Centre which included different activities for the fundraising event.
The event was organised by the school's student council and its sports coach Abdul-Rahman Badhwal, and all money raised from sponsorship will go to Lady Fatemah Trust and the Iraqi Development Organisation.
Headteacher Alim Shaikh said: “The event was a huge success for students at Harrow Primary, who learned not only about keeping fit and healthy but the importance of giving to charity.
“Parents, students and staff of Harrow Primary all had a fantastic day out at Harrow Leisure Centre enjoying the wonderful facilities whist raising much needed funds for orphans and good causes across the globe.”
