People are being given the chance to have their say about proposals to improve parking.

Harrow Borough Council has launched a consultation on parking in the Welbeck Road area on possible changes to restrictions.

The area of the review includes the southern end of Welbeck Road, the entrance to Grange Primary School and The Arches, and a side road with a number of businesses.

The council says there are currently no parking restrictions but there are yellow lines proposed in the section of Welbeck Road between the school entrance and the junction with Coles Crescent.

People have until April 7 to have their say on parking in the area and can do so via an online questionnaire which can be completed here.

Once the consultation ends, officers will take their findings to the council's traffic advisory and road safety panel, which will make a recommendation to the relative cabinet member.

If a decision has been agreed there will then be a statutory consultation carried out which could take place later this year.
