Petrol heads were given the chance to view rare cars and help raise money for charity.

The charity car show on Sunday took place at the Grim's Dyke Hotel in Harrow Weald, to raise money for the NSPCC.

Pink Floyd’s drummer Nick Mason was guest speaker at the event and talked about his love of fast cars.

Chairman of the NSPCC Mark Wood, who attended the event, said: “What a wonderful occasion. Nick Mason’s memories of motoring, financed by music had everyone captivated. Thank you to everyone who came.”

Sally Phipps, community fundraising manager, said: “It was a wonderful day and thanks to everyone who came along to help support our vital work helping those children and young people who are victims of abuse.

“We hope to have raised in the region of £2000 for the charity which is a fantastic amount.”
